CCP Games Lands in St. Petersburg for Second Leg of EVE Invasion World Tour

April 2, 2019 - Reykjavík, Iceland – CCP Games, the creators of the in-depth and uniquely player-driven spaceship MMO game EVE Online, shared more details today on EVE Russia, the next event in the year-long EVE Invasion World Tour, a global series of capsuleer conventions, reaching more players and fans of EVE Online than ever before. On May 4, EVE Russia will be the biggest gathering of Russian EVE Online players, in St. Petersburg at the Akakao.

The second of eight EVE Online fan events as part of the EVE Invasion World Tour in 2019, EVE Russia will feature announcements, a developer AMA session, unique in-game rewards and stellar parties for fans that continues to bring EVE Online closer to its community.

Additionally, the Invasion Tournament Series continues during EVE Russia, with each World Tour stop featuring a single elimination tournament where players can win bragging rights and PLEX, as well as every winning team from all tournament locations will be invited for a paid trip to CCP’s home in Reykjavik, Iceland to showcase their prowess in battle and compete against each other at EVE Fanfest 2020. EVE Russia attendees can sign up for the single elimination 2v2 tournament here.
